A company from the Brewhouse incubator is coming out to Björkö, and together we’re running a lunch-to-lunch Jungle workshop.

We’re visiting GoWest, and it’s truly an amazing event!
Personally, the highlight (apart from being treated to shots by Icelanders) was an innovation where prematurely born babies are given a “wearable incubator,” allowing the baby to lie on the parent’s chest. Such a great innovation in every way!

The theory training for this round is now complete.
Most of the incubator teams have now gone through the three theoretical modules to become Jungle Guides—really fun! This means that once they’ve run a couple of workshops, they’ll have the opportunity to become certified by us. More to come!

A new phase for The Jungle in the Vinnova project
We’re now in the middle of the project, and going forward it will be Ludvig and I who run workshops around the country. Even more exciting is that we’re now starting the training of around 15 Jungle Guides. These participants will learn how to run the workshops, which means many more startups will have the opportunity to use the tool.

We’re signing for a new office!
A space in the harbor has become available and it is absolutely perfect for us. We're getting office workstations plus a substantial area where the jungle can be permanently set up!

96% of Companies Want to Repeat the Workshop
Evaluation Results. We have collected evaluations from both the startup companies and their coaches following the spring workshops. The results are now finalized, and they are extremely gratifying for us.

Workshops in Halmstad
We are heading down to Halmstad to run workshops with three of their companies—all three have very strong ideas and concepts! Two of them have a strong connection to sustainability, which feels especially good!
Jungle Pulse
We are continuing to work on a project we strongly believe in, called "Jungle Pulse." This involves following up on the goals set during the workshop conducted in the "jungle." Briefly, you put a "jungle image" on the wall where, every week at an exact time, you review both the goals and simultaneously discuss what has emerged recently.

Gathering on Björkö
All the incubators gathered from lunch-to-lunch for information and the kickoff of the "jungle project." There was an exchange of experiences, a demo of the "jungle," and many pleasant conversations!

Innovations Connected to the Sea
Participating in the Nordic Seafood Summit at Eriksbergshallen. It's very enjoyable to see all the innovations connected to the sea. I am currently coaching an idea-generator who is working with oysters. We even managed to fit in a study visit to the Fish Auction really fun!

Heading up to KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) to run a workshop with one of the Venture Cup winners, Funki. Innovation, music, and strategy. This is a very exciting company that builds instruments for NFP (Non-Functional Persons), and I also believe these could take off in many other areas who wouldn't want to join a jam session...?

We have secured Vinnova funding!
For two years, six incubators in Sweden will get to try using the methodology surrounding Startup Jungle. We are extremely happy and proud of this! We have immediately started planning our kickoff meeting more info to come!
